Healing the harder bits...

The Christian Science which, as many around the world do, I now call my own (and would love to share with anyone with an ear to hear!) is generally known for its approach to physical healing through prayer...and I am grateful for that. However, it is its ability to help get us up and over and out of character traits that I am most grateful for...because I have had a few over my life, and still have some more to wrestle with. I have enormous respect for those who can overcome these on their own...but I have needed a little (or a lot!) of divine help. So I am very grateful that Christian Science - through Mary Baker Eddy's ideas, and through the Bible through its magnifying lens (magnifying God, that is, as the Bible says - not magnifying MBE!) - gives me the spiritual resources I need in order to do this, step by step by step...!

Why am I so grateful to God?

Healing, happiness - even in the midst of struggle - hope, and a sense of the inevitability of good winning out over evil...in the little things of my own life, and in the big things of the world's battle with suffering. That's a start...
